Welcome dear friends to my new Blog!
My name is Federica Torri, and I am a heart-centered Yoga teacher, intuitive coach, reiki practitioner, sensitive seeker, and flower enthusiast.
Interestingly, I've been wanting to start a blog since high school, but it's only recently that I've found a set of topics I'm truly so passionate about.
This blog will cover various topics such as Yoga, Meditation, Nervous System Regulation, and the experience of being highly sensitive in today's world.
Please don't get me wrong; I don't possess all the answers, and I'm definitely not doing better than anyone who reads this. I'm simply experiencing this spiritual journey that is life, and I would love to share inspirations from my experiences as a sensitive person, managing a painful chronic illness with no cure, and navigating the ups and downs of finding my purpose in this lifetime.
Yoga has appeared in my life as an invaluable remedy not just for the physical body, but for my entire being. I hope to share in my posts some intriguing reflections on certain aspects of yogic traditions and practices that may seem quite metaphysical, yet can actually be applied in our daily lives.
The word that first came to mind when I began my 200-hour yoga teacher training was tenderness. It resonated with me, and I didn't immediately understand its exact meaning. However, I maintained tenderness as the focal point and source of inspiration for both my practice and what I bring to my students. Gradually, day by day, I am beginning to comprehend its significance.
Tenderness involves embracing life wholeheartedly and courageously. It means accepting all aspects of ourselves, both the enjoyable and the challenging ones. It involves opening our hearts like a beautiful lotus flower, without any specific reason or expectation for others to reciprocate. Through openness, I've discovered that we can connect with others and find a sense of community. By being tender and open, we enhance our ability to feel, and the more we feel, the more we heal.
I hope this blog serves as a tender and heartfelt offering, from the heart of hearts.
